Hello! My name is Hailey Smith, and I teach 3rd grade Reading, Language Arts, and writing. 2020-2021 school year will be my 7th year of teaching at O'Rourke and my 4th year teaching 3rd grade. My first 3 years of teaching, I taught Special Education. My last 3 years were spent team teaching with my wonderful coworker, Cindy Langston. I absolutely love my job and my students! 

A little about me... I am from Mobile. I graduated from Baker High School in 2009 and then went to the University of South Alabama to receive my undergraduate degree in K-6 Special Education and Regular Education. I am currently working towards my Masters from South in Elementary Education. Aside from teaching and learning, I love to travel! I have currently visited 10 countries, and I am looking forward to visiting so many more. I have two fur babies, Willow and Bayleigh. I love going on adventures with my pups and spending time at the beach.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year teaching 3rd grade!
